Alternative definitions of bankruptcy!

The word bankruptcy is derived from the Italian banca rotta, literally meaning  Broken bench  but more practically  Broken bank  ~ The term is often described as having originated in Renaissance Italy where there allegedly existed the tradition of smashing the banker’s bench if he defaulted on payment but I’ve got an alternative definition for the word bankruptcy as described by Wikipedia above along the lines of an economic powerhouse, a beacon on a hill, or a light of the free world…

And then you’ve got your moral bankruptcies to deal with, up until Jesus Christ audits the Fed…
