There’s a large percentage of the world population, both religious and atheist alike, who’ve never quite grasped the fact the Christian Jewish and Islamic religious sensibilities began with a Persian descent patriarch being told by the omnipotent omnipresent angry invisible Abrahamic cosmic magi deity all three occasionaly call god-almighty, to take his only son Isaac and perform a ritual human sacrifice on him ~ So, according to their Book of Genesis, the patriarch of all monotheistic world religions then proceeded to bind his only son Isaac with cords, presumably so he couldn’t run away maybe, then place him on the wood for the sacrifice ~ It’d be right to presume the wood was to cook him, probably something you might ordinarily do with meat you were planning to eat…
